I was captivated not so much by the action in computer games as by the new kind of space that had presented itself to me, a boundless new place to explore with a different (and mutable) set of rules. Computer games and the internet became an extension of the natural world.

In 1993, when DOOM was released, Pierce managed to get his hands on a copy and was hooked. Come celebrate a new dimension of space, and share a communal encounter with the tradition of the medium — the LAN Party.
