What is concealed in something revealed? This body of work is an attempt to describe that which refuses to be addressed. The exact cause may elude us, but the effect is evident in how we shape and reshape our world. Modernity critiques itself as it trickles down from its source in the arts and sciences to the strip malls and parking lots of mainstream American culture. Only time can measure the benefits and consequences of human ingenuity, problem solving, and creativity, but it still seems significant to ask:
What can art teach us about living, and can it help us find our way?
